There is a humming in my ear, a relentless sound. I know how to end it, but I won't, you won't let me.
I scream at the top of my lungs, but the humming prevails, it carries on, it never stops.
I know where it comes from, I know it's you really, but I wont shut it, you up.
I can't stop it hurting me without hurting you and I can't do that.
I wish I could.
More than anything I wish I could.
